Newman Fellowship

A famous convert to Catholicism and renowned theologian who responded to the challenges of modernity, St. John Henry Newman was also an innovator in the space of Catholic education.

Like their patron, Newman Fellows contribute to the richness of the Kateri Institute’s academic, spiritual, and social life by helping to shape our programming.  Including representatives from both the undergraduate and graduate levels, Newman Fellows ensure that our programs draw on the riches of the Catholic tradition to address the important challenges of our own day.  Our Spring 2026 Fellows are helping to design the new Catholic Studies Fellowship that will be launched in Fall 2026.

In return for their labors, Newman Fellows receive exclusive opportunities to engage visiting scholars and Kateri’s faculty affiliates, including invitation-only receptions and dinners.

*Applications are now closed for the Spring 2026 semester. Applications for the Fall 2026 semester will be available in April.*
