About

1700 years after the Council of Nicaea, Catholics say the Nicene Creed every Sunday during Mass. Join us as we explore the importance of the Council and the enduring relevance of the Creed for today. Cosponsored by Catholic Student Evangelization.

Daniel A. Keating (DPhil, Oxford University) is Professor of Theology at Sacred Heart Major Seminary, where he teaches on the Church Fathers, Ecumenism, and the New Evangelization. The author of many books, he recently co-authored (with Jared Ortiz) The Nicene Creed: A Scriptural, Historical, and Theological Commentary (2024).
